No do-overs…

in raising your kids.  All the things you say and do, stick.  You can apologize, you can make changes.  But, when you say and do those things that later, upon reflection, you wish you hadn’t, remember, your kids hear you and watch what you do.  They take it in, and they remember.  There are no do-overs.

You can tell your kids all the things to avoid, you can show them by your actions.  You can guide them, care for them, love them, and still, there’ll be days like this.

Song for the night:  Days Like This, Van Morrison
